Mr. Navin Agarwal – Chairman and Non-Executive Director

Mr. Navin Agarwal, is the Chairman and Non-Executive Director of the Company. He is also the Deputy Executive Chairman of Vedanta Resources Plc, Executive Vice Chairman of Sterlite Industries (India) Limited, Chairman of Konkola Copper Mines, Zambia and Vice Chairman of Bharat Aluminium Company Limited. He also holds directorships in Hindustan Zinc Ltd, Vedanta Aluminium Ltd, Sterlite Iron and Steel Limited,Vedanta Resources Holdings Limited and Vedanta Resources Investment Limited.

Mr. Navin Agarwal plays an instrumental role in developing Group's business strategy and overseeing its overall performance & growth including joint ventures, strategic treasury & fund raising initiatives, global investor relations, as well as augmenting and mentoring the Group’s talent pool.

Mr. Agarwal has more than two decades of experience in strategic and business management. He has completed the Owner/President Management Program from Harvard University, USA and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Sydenham College, Mumbai.

Mr. Agnivesh Agarwal – Whole time Director

Mr. Agnivesh Agarwal, is the Wholetime Director of the Company since January 18, 1995. Mr. Agarwal is an eminent industrialist with strong business operation knowledge, experience in managing projects, formulating strategies and restructuring businesses. Over the years he has developed a good commercial knowledge with hands-on experience.     

He is the Chairman of Hindustan Zinc Limited and holds directorship in Sterlite Iron and Steel Company Limited, Sterlite Infrastructure Private Limited, Sterlite Energy Limited, Twinstar Infrastructure Limited, Twinstar Investments Ltd, Agarwal Galvanizing Private Limited and Twinstar Overseas Limited. Mr.Agarwal graduated from Sydenham College, Mumbai with majors in Commerce.

Mr. P.Ramnath, Additional Director

Mr.P.Ramnath is an Additional Director of the Company. At present he is the Chief Executive Officer of Copper division at Sterlite Industries (India) Ltd. Mr. P.Ramnath holds a B. Tech in Chemical from Osmania University, Hyderabad and PGDM from IIM Bangalore.

He joined the group on September 08, 2011 and carries wealthy experience of 28 years working at various Senior Management levels with key decision making capacities. He is also a member of Audit Committee, Banking & Authorisation Committee, Investment Committee and Share Transfer Committee of the Company.

Mr.C.Murugeswaran - Whole Time Director

Mr. C.Murugeswaran is the Whole time Director of the Company and is responsible for day to day operations of the Company. He is associated with the Group since 1996, before taking over responsibilities at MALCO he has worked in various Group Companies, handling significant assignments across the length and breadth of Group structure.

Mr. C. Murugeswaran holds a Bachelors Degree in Metallurgical Engineering from Govt. College of Engineering, Salem and carries with him rich experience of handling important assignments in operations,  commercial and supply chain management.
