Namukku Naame Thitam (Public private partnership program): MALCO partnered the government to develop rural infrastructure in surrounding villages. The project includes the development of village toilets, school, anganwadis and drainage system, among others. MALCO will bear a third of the project investment. During 2009-10, Rs. 13.30 lakhs was contributed to two panchayats for infrastructure development as part of model village development.
