MALCO started operation of 75 MW Coal based
Power plant in May 1999
MALCO commissioned the project with the lowest gestation period
of 20 months.
The technology and equipments are supplied by the Shanghai Electric
Co. Ltd., China.
MALCO imports about 370,000 MTPA of high Calorific value Low
ash content coal.
MALCO CPP is considered to be one of the highly energy efficient
units of the country and has been awarded as the best energy efficient
Captive Power Plant by CII.
MALCO CPP is consistently generating power at high PLFs of 116%.
